i know in dnd elves canonically meditate but i literally can not imagine taako meditating for even 2 minutes before getting sick of it and wandering off to bother someone or paint his nails or something. 

concept: Taako has been horrendously sleep deprived this entire time. Half his dickishness is just because he needs a nap. post canon someone convinces him to actually properly meditate for once and he’s so weirdly cheerful it freaks everyone the fuck out.

tbh what probably happens is like 2 seconds after the battle ends, lup kinda looks at taako and squints a lil bit and is like…..”yo whens the last time you meditated, my guy?” and taako kind of just laughs nervously and lup makes magnus sit on taako until he fuckin zonks out for a bit.
