I still don't understand the secret to Asriel's floating horns...
That’s more of a stylistic choice than anything; for some reason I can’t maintain the same uniform weight of the lines with the horns interacting, an example:
By “floating” the horns, I can draw the head with less and longer strokes.
I apply this to other characters too, it makes for a more interesting silhouette.
