shoutout to like 2010 or 2011 in the minecraft fandom right after the golem update came out and Notch said that there was still something in the game that nobody found yet and the entire fandom went into a frenzy scrambling to figure out what it was, combining every conceivable object with every other one, trying alchemy and magic and enchantments and searching high and low until one day someone posted on the reddit that they opened minecraft one day and the ‘c’ and the ‘e’ in the title were swapped so that it said ‘minceraft’, and notch was like ‘yeah thats what it is’. there was like a one in ten thousand-ish chance to find that easter egg and the collective fandom had run itself ragged to find this stupid meaningless easter egg.
