fuckin. travis building magnus as a tragic backstory hero who wants to go out in a blaze of glory and is above all concerned with everyone elses lives but his own and magnus over time getting all these fuckin connections with people, making friends and finding family and realizing that hey, there’s something to live for, this is a conscious choice i make, and that maybe him dying in battle would actually hurt people more than anything else, and then him living a LONG ASS life and DYING OF OLD AGE WITH HIS FRIENDS SURROUNDING HIM, that kills me.
