IT’S NOT A FUCKING ADVERTISEMENT FOR A PRODUCT OR ANYTHING THOUGH

Those ads were making a lot of people feel ill/uncomfortable/attacked, they were not warranted on the videos that they played on, the people who put ads on their video don’t have a choice on what ads show so let’s say it pops up on a pro-trans related video? Yeah, that’s problematic. A lot of people who put ads on their channel probably wouldn’t support this ad being on their videos.

And guess what, it goes against what youtube ads are meant to be. Youtube already responded to this and confirmed this was not okay and have, at least for now, removed their ads. There were a lot of angry folks who responded to this issue.

Saying they shouldn’t have it as an ad is not fucking silencing them, they still have their video, people can still watch it.

Are you saying that, if someone paid for say, a KKK ad talking about why white people are superior and everyone else is inferior, that it’s appropriate?

That their opinions shouldn’t be silence because it’s their rights, and those ads should be played to everyone anyway?

There is a line to cross when it comes to opinions and peoples rights: When you start to impede on other peoples’ rights, when you promote taking someone’s rights away because you’re offended by who they are, you don’t get the right to say no one can do the same to you.

People are trying to silence a harmful opinion. That channel that posted that ad has videos that are very focused around silencing groups of people, excluding them, ostracizing them.

Honestly sickened by people who think “rights” give everyone a free card to be a sexist/racist/bigoted dicksnot. These are not the type of people who should be defended, seriously.

     One it is an ad. ad’s don’t have to promote products. ads have been set up to promote anything like charities promoting a call for help, churches promoting their religion, and politics promoting their views. next, if the KKK put an ad up stating their views like we believe in white superiority and didn’t promote lynching and violence. yes, that would be there right.

 I’d hate it and be disgusted by it, even advise others to not follow them but not say their ad should be taken down. I do agree there’s a line but that line stands at the point of pushing for an act of violence. their ad and video do not promote any sort of violence against trans, in fact, its a call for both side to look at the facts a born male boxer shouldn’t be able to just say he’s a woman and just get in the ring to fight, just as Fallon Fox did. 

you obviously understand male bodies have more muscle easily it’s why we section sports because men have a physical advantage if two fighters are close to the same skill as in the best of the best, the one who has more strength has an advantage.

 secondly, they are telling the dangers to have a system where anyone can call them self whatever they like, like how Facebook has fifty different genders. If that was legal and you could go to jail for calling someone her instead of him, just like there are now laws in Canada, by this it would be both easy and heavily abused by those who are really sexist /racist/bigoted dicksnot. so let me end this with a question at what point have I try to imply we should impede on someone rights? where did I or the video say trans should lose any rights they have?

Oh so ads promoting hatred, bigotry, sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, abuse, fear, misinformation… All that is FINE by you? That’s seriously fucked up. Spreading negativity about groups of people CAN result in more violence towards that group because it also spreads ignorance. To allow such things to be seen by anyone, including children, is DANGEROUS. It sets in the dangerous mindset that, in this ad’s case for example: a transwoman should not be considered a woman.

Look, see? It’s already done the damage, you’re referring to her in male pronouns. I almost stopped reading and ended the conversation right here because that honestly sickened me. The video very blatantly shit on her identity in favor of villainizing her as a MAAAAAAN the whole time, excluding her from women.

This is DANGEROUS to trans people. When people get hardwired in to thinking “this is a man no matter what” or “this is a woman no matter what” they will see transpeople as weird/sick/wrong, and that can very often (and does) lead to a LOT of violence against the trans community.

just because I let them talk doesn't mean I like what they say. also, the way your suggesting, bigotry, sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, abuse, fear, being ok is under the pretense of violence you got to play some series verbal gymnastics to promote any of them without promoting illegal acts or violence but that's splitting hairs. most people don’t advertise that because they agree these things are bad just as I agree they’re bad. that said if some dumbass is going to jump on national tv or internet ads promoting that stuff I doubt their gonna get anything but public backlash but no one should be able to silence them. we will prove them wrong and I have no dout a hundred ads/video would be made by a many other people destroying there ideas and views putting out much more correct info then false. why cause people like well you and me who sit here and debate the facts, and logic of it all.

 their video is none of that there's no misinformation. they don’t see HER as a woman and there no law saying they have to. 

I don’t believe its right to force others to see you any way you want. Just as I can consider my boss a dick it just my opinion just we say some born females are tomboys. the difference here for gender is reproduction this no matter how hard you try they cannot change if you were born a woman nothing can give that person the ability to fertilize eggs like a man just as vice versa nothing can allow a man to have there own eggs to be fertilized 

finally, it’s not right to force others to consider you anything, not even your own biological gender. just because they don’t see Fallon as a woman doesn’t take any right away from her there is no right that says everyone now has to see you as what you want and there shouldn't be,  cause I shouldn’t be jail just cause I think my boss is an ass hole and not the man or woman or demi boy they believe they are.

in part, your getting upset not because of the message they put out but simply because they don’t consider Fallon Fox a woman. you are ignoring their rest of the entire video simply because they use him instead of her? seems like you would get upset and want them jailed just cause they called a pickle a vegetable even though its classed as a fruit cause it has seeds.

To claim I’m “forcing” people to see someone a certain way, when that’s literally impossible unless I like, tortured someone in to it, is just another one of those bullshit excuses people make to be an asshole. Because they’re trying to make the other person look like an unreasonable douchebucket.

Because there is literally NOTHING harmful in just calling someone a different pronoun. It’s not difficult, it’s not going to make the world explode, it’s not going to make the devil ride on your shoulder.

I have plenty more I’m against in the video but someone else summed it up pretty well as to why this is transphobic, not only misgendering but with a clear intent to villainize a transwoman by claiming her career allowed her to commit battery just because it was a “man” against a woman. Which is bullshit considering all the wrestling matches that are in fact man vs woman so what, are we going to say any time a man wins in a boxing/wrestling match he’s assaulting the woman?

Also, BTW? This ad was considered hate speech by youtube and the fact that you can’t see that concerns me because most anyone in the trans community can see that’s what this is

Too bad there’s actually science behind it, with tons of research on it which is still being expanded on. It’s scientific name is “gender dysphoria”.

Uh, yeah, and sometimes, just like our bodies can get mixed up and cause intersex people to be born, or like how a man can be XXY which can result in breasts, or a woman can be born with too much testosterone…. Our brains can ALSO have these gender developmental issues.

We all start female, hormones decide if we stay female or become male in the womb, the brain can for example develop male without the body, or the body will develop male but the brain doesn’t. This can be one of many other factors that may play in to why someone can get gender dysphoria.

This video is also pretty sexist in its obsession with separating men from women, demonizing the idea of them being within the same spaces together

Ohh then there’s this lovely bit where she says “we should have nothing but compassion for those with gender dysphoria” but you know, if she actually stood by that, she’d have not misgendered one.

She talks about how people can be fired/sent to court for misgendering someone but it’s made out to be like it could happen to anyone who might slip up accidentally. But that’s not the case at all, it applies to people who INTENTIONALLY and KNOWINGLY continue to misgender someone. And I’m fairly sure with court there is a fair trial where witness accounts need to be present to make the case, not just one person making a claim alone.

This video’s tone is basically giving the vibe of “oh trans people are too sensitive, accepting trans people as their identified genders is harmful to society because court/hospitals/losing jobs

This right here is propoganda, making trans acceptance seem SCARY and INCONVENIENT.

This dumbass woman just went on talking about how important the right pronoun is and that it’s important to show transpeople compassion, and what does she do to show that? Continue to call a transwoman ‘he’.

They push the ‘only two genders’ thing despite the fact that technically chromosomes can do all sorts of nifty weird shit that causes peoples biological sex to be different than the typical 2.

So, really, the whole point of this ad is saying transgender people are problematic because they want to be accepted for who they are and it causes scaaary gender erasure from our binary world. This was not about men VS women. It was specifically about how transpeople are causing problems. How they are a potential threat to society‘s structure and the gender roles of men and women.

This is quite obviously an anti-trans video. Which can and has been considered hate speech, therefor, this ad was removed by youtube who were smart enough to see that.
