If it makes you feel any better one time I got startled by my own hair falling in front of my face and it took me like 3 seconds before I actually figures out it was my hair.

if we’re one upping each other here and its a competition now, i once woke up to the sight of my own hand on my bed next to me and nearly went into cardiac arrest
