This bill also removed the requirement to have a doctor’s sworn statement that you are medically transitioning in order to change the gender marker on your birth certificate or license. Once this goes into effect, all you have to do is sign a thing asserting that you are changing your gender marker to bring it in line with your gender identity and not for any fraudulent purposes, and that’s it.
