HOOOOOO BOY

• How I feel about this character:

i have so many mixed feelings about this dude. like. intense next level feelings, because part of me really likes him (as a character) but god he’s such a fucking wreck of a human being. and friend. and prince of heart (tho tbh the heart aspect along with the prince class are already difficult as hell–i guess he’s trying his best. sort of)

• All the people I ship romantically with this character

ngl, dirkjohn has really grown on me. like at first it was just “wtf is this” but now i’m emotionally invested in two dudes, one week, no rules. 

also in one of my favorite AUs (trailerstuck), there’s some really interesting dirk/kankri dynamics, but they’re all like, forty and living in a trailerpark and nobody is safe from the past. (also admittedly has some okay d*rkj*ke, which i never thought i’d like in any context, but i guess i’m cool w/ it in a trailer trash setting)

honestly…brotp wise? i’m cool with dirk & …no one hahaha. i mean he has friends but honestly…

• My unpopular opinion about this character

…as continued in the last response, i really think he shouldn’t talk to the other alpha kids for a while. in all honesty a lot of their interactions as a group were awful and toxic, and they ALL could benefit from some space. like a lot of it. for an undefined time. [probs why alpha shipping usually makes me uncomfortable lmfao!]

• One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

i wish this dude would fucking accept that he’s a mess and that he can work on that. he’s so far away from recovery that it hurts, man.
