clint mcelroy is such a good actor because i genuinely can’t tell if he continued merle’s plant fetish because he thought it would be funny/true to the character or because he wanted to make his sons wildly uncomfortable
Clint plays the long game; he likes to play dumb and aloof but I get the vibe he almost always knows what he’s doing.
