the zootopia abortion comic is so fucking wild bc a) it’s admittedly well drawn & on model but b) is so wildly out of character that it transcends being OOC and starts becoming something else and c) judy literally brings up how she might medically be unable to carry a horrible fox/rabbit hybrid and wants to continue her career, which are really fucking valid points (read: you never need a point for getting an abortion. it’s all up to you, but i’m saying that judy has super legit medical & financial concerns) but nick is still like “but our babbbbbbby” which is just so fucking incredibly bad that it’s funny.

and theres also the fact that they’ve apparently been fuckin unprotected the entire time without ever discussing it, nick has an autographed picture of his own goddamn mother right beside a framed photo of Furry Holy Mary, and the fact that the dialogue ranges from ‘normal person talk’ to ‘soap opera 16 seasons deep desperately trying to make enough drama to keep going’. it’s all just… so bizarre.

not helped by the fact that the author has done multiple zootopia comments before of nick accidentally killing judy and between that and the very valid point they accidentally raise of how carrying a half fox baby might kill judy, but the comics moral should be to try anyways, i am legitimately concerned that the artist is just a furry with a snuff fetish that is expressing it in a very strange way.

also it never addresses WHY judy took a pregnancy test if she /never thought she could get pregnant with a fox in the first place/. why did she even suspect in the first place???

someone fact check rabbit & fox gestation periods—if the “breeds like rabbits” connotation is as quick as suspect, i don’t know if she’d even have the time to take a pregnancy test.

i hate myself for checking this but you’re right, a rabbit gestation period is radically different from a fox’s but either way she would preeeeeetty much have had the goddamn thing before even thinking to check. like. nothing about this makes sense, at all, the author just wants to push his weird assbackwards views

judy “nick i need an abortion i’m 29 days pregnant” hopps oh god help us all

and yet the op of the comic isn’t actually pro life! the entire comic is causing me to have so many mixed feelings about art & story telling & most of all why the author even thought judy and nick have any romantic (let alone sexual) chemistry. just…it hurts my brain to even try to comprehend this
