One of the Santas I work with at the mall often tells kids that ask for things like tablets or phones,

“Oh my elves make toys, not electronics. You’re thinking of those fellows from Sony or Apple.”

This way the problem mentioned above is avoided, and theres also less pressure on the parents to get gifts that break their budget just because it’s supposedly from Santa

Or you could tell your kid to stop being a materialistic brat and to be fucking grateful that they got anything at all

What ever happened to those kinds of morals? Your kid wont feel bad about this kind of nonsense if you teach them gratitude.
