Reasons straight girls need to stop calling their female friends “girlfriends”:
- The word “friend” already exists and is gender neutral you don’t need another word for friends of the same gender
- I’m gay and confused

There’s oppression, then there’s petty complaints. Apparently you don’t know the difference.
So lemme just clarify what’s happened here. I made a post complaining about something and didn’t at any point even mention oppression. You have then, for some bizarre reason, brought oppression into it. But you’re now saying that it’s ME who can’t tell the difference between petty complaints and oppression?
