I love these scenes in Disney films. They almost always draw inspiration from the time period or setting the film is taking place. Mulan from the styles of old Chinese scrolls, The Princess and the Frog from retro American pop art, Pocahontas from ancient Native American paintings, Wreck-it Ralph from the 8-bit world of 1980s gaming. I love it all.
