I had a guy come in to Target tonight and small talk led to him saying “because they’re (millenials) too busy on their phones, right?” *Wink wink* like some in-joke and I said “well I feel obligated to defend my generation and their phones, I mean I’ve got friends all around the world and that’s the only way I can talk to them” and when it came time to leave he said “I hope your friends make it back around these parts soon” and I just. It literally could not sink in for him that I meant I’d *made* friends from all over the world. Like that was not an option he was aware of.
