when i was a kid one of my best friends was a year older than me so i deferred to him as the expert on everything in the whole world, and once when i was 9 and he was 10 my curiosity got the best of me and i asked him what the f word was (i knew how to use google but i think i was afraid my parents would see?) and he got really quiet and serious and leaned down and whispered, “find” (pronounced rhyming with “pinned”). i did not find out that this was not the actual f word until a year later, when i was google image searching kittens for warrior cats roleplaying purposes and i came upon a pic with the caption “look at this fucking kitten”

btw i asked him about it years later and he was like “oh yeah, i knew the word was fuck, i just didn’t want to be the one to corrupt you so i made one up on the spot”
