peggy-cherepaha:

Pro-life or pro-choice or whatever, there is a really simple solution to end all abortions. When boys hit puberty, make it required for all of them to have a vasectomy. Then, if they find a partner and want to have a baby, they can have the vasectomy reversed. This way, accidental pregnancies and pregnancies from rape will be nearly nonexistent.

(editing in my addition because people were misunderstanding)

I was honestly waiting for people to freak out over this. The real point I was trying to make is that pro-life people think it’s perfectly acceptable for a person to be forced to go through permanent body changes and unwanted medical procedures, if that person is a woman, of course.

Vasectomies are reversible, and they are way less invasive than a c-section. Not to mention, you can’t be against this idea because it is ‘immoral’ to force a boy to undergo a surgery and then at the same time think it’s fine to let a girl undergo a pregnancy and birth.
