Tumblr, settle a debate for me. Does “Oh, man!” as an interjection imply anything about the gender of your interlocutor? Or can you say, “Oh man, those fireworks were awesome!” to a woman or enby and be accurate?

‘Dude’ (as an interjection) also mostly does not imply a gender, although I would be inclined to use a different interjection when speaking to a trans woman.

“Oh man” should only be used when talking to men, “Oh God” should only be used when talking to God, “Oh hell” should only be used when talking to the Devil, and “Oh no” should only be used when talking to the Void.
