One user said, “You might be thinking the apples are going far down their throat because their huge tusks seem like their front teeth, but take a look at a hippo skull. The tusks are like extra teeth. Their normal teeth start significantly farther back. You can see them as just lines of dark spots in the gif. The apples are actually landing about in the middle of their tongues, right between their food-grinding teeth.”
