So after the Pokémon Gold demo leaked obviously this caught my interest. here’s my take on a few of the sprites for the unused Pokémon, more to come eventually.

My friend has started a project to collect sprites like these and make a listing of sprites by many artists so please, check it out, reblog, or even contribute!
