im trying to find apt words to describe my thoughts on this:

there’s this vague meme-concept about fallout 76 and people’s reactions to it. the bird video was hilarious to me, to the point where i #god-tier ‘d it immediately. it just speaks to me about how like, bethesda spends 9 years hand crafting their “perfect” fallout experience, and then everyones reaction is just kinda “meh,  it feels watered down”

so bethesda is left with what should objectively be a timeless masterpiece, and people would rather play the buggy, one-year project made by an outside team with graphics ripped from a PS2 and gunplay that feels stiffer than cardboard.

it’s been like 4 years since Fallout 4 and it’s a blur. It’s been like what, 15? 20? 25 years? since new vegas? and i’m still seeing easy pete discourse on my dash???
