Yokai Watch is a weird franchise to try to get into after a lifetime of Pokémon, I’m used to the plot being “an evil scientist is trying to harness the power of the gods to wipe the earth clean” not “this weird little gremlin is trying to make your parents get a divorce”

Also Pokémon tend to be like animals or whatever while Yokai are all like
