Rogue: “I fire my shortsword!”
DM: “I’m sorry, what?”
Rogue: “I’m gonna fire it like an arrow with my shortbow!”
DM: “This is stupid, but fine. Roll for it.”
Rogue: “I got a 20!”
DM: “Wait, is the goblin– it’s dead now, I guess.”
