always thought that Obadiah looked like Thanos

I’ve also noticed that both of them have a similar line in their movies

Obadiah: I never had a taste for this sorta thing, but I must admit, I’m deeply enjoying the suit.

Thanos: fun isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe, but this? Does put a smile on my face.

Obadiah didn’t die in the arc reactor explosion but instead was warped to Titan memory wiped and grew into a big purple man

i mean, the arc reactor was created to replicate the power generated from the space stone so i dont see why he couldnt have been teleported somewhere else

I mean, if there is a single downpoint to this it’s that Thanos was around starting empires and killing people well before Tony Stark was even born. And Obidiah was only blasted by the space energy, not the time energy. So he wouldn’t be able to travel back in time to become Thanos. 

Maybe strange fucking with the time stone played a part
