In a political quiz I took in high school I scored as a moderate with liberal leanings. I've often said that I'll vote for whoever I think will do the best job; it's just that right now that belongs to the Democrats because Republicans are currently psychotic.

Pretty much yeah

Democrat has become for the people, all people, races, gender, and sexuality

Republican is for the white christian males with money and the businesses

i dunno about you but when someone says they’re conservative but also claim to support things like women’s rights and gay marriage I want to call bullshit because even if you claim you don’t support anti-gay, racist, and sexist standings, you’re still on their side and letting it happen.

“not all conservatives” is basically ignoring the problem just because some people aren’t so bad

imagine “not all nazis” as an argument, like ‘oh that one nazi snuck food to the Jews so they’re not ALL bad’, like, no, just because one person in that group might not be a part of the bad shit doesn’t mean that shit isn’t happening and should be ignored in favor of the one decent human being who was in the nazi party (am talking about a real person BTW, a holocaust survivor came to speak at my school and he explained that was one main reason he didn’t hate the Germans, because some actually legit tried to help as best they could)

If you’re against something, do something, don’t excuse it just because you yourself are not “like them”

I understand where you are coming from, but are you willing to apply that line of thinking to liberal ideologys?

For example

Not all liberals and feminists say things like “kill all men” and are violent members of antifa… But enough are to generalise the rest and disassociate from the group"

Also I know plenty of people who are Republican who aren’t “white Christian males” a friend of mine, who’s whole family is from mexico and who’s household only speaks spanish, came with me to see Trump when he came to phoniex. @kekoslovakia is one of my best friends and he’s conservative and not white. Also I’m female, and while I do identify as Christian I’m not very religious at all sooooo….

oh boy

Racism is not and never has been part of the Republican platform. It is, however, a deeply rooted part of the Democrats’.

so about them immigrants

Anyone who pays even a the slightest attention in high school government knows that the Republican and democratic ideals essentially swapped in the 40s and 50s

  3. ask39thewolf said: However even I know I don’t know everything, and things could be wrong, but I’d be an idiot to follow anything blindly. You know earlier you called me a nut. Well I think I’d rather be a nut by your thinking, than a blind sheep being fed poisonous lies and empty promises. You have nothing more to say? Fine, but I really hope you at least can absorb something from this little “debate”. Bring something to back up your words next time. Because I’ll gladly prove my side.
  4. ask39thewolf said: The nerve to not even attempt to see things from a different point of view. No sympathy or empathy. Raging the loudest, but with no substance behind your words. Think you know everything when you refuse to accept anything that isn’t what you think is real. Me, I’m a passionate person, but I’m not stupid. I look at things for myself. I see the studies, the polls, the opinions across so many things, and THEN make a conclusion. You know, the way you’re supposed to.
  5. ask39thewolf said: You know I think it’s funny, you demonstrate the frustrating wall that happens every time I come across a conservative. Someone so set in their mindset and ways that they’re blind to anything around them. Someone who is so sure they’re right about everything that they ignore everything else. Possibilities, facts, news, and events. Sadly people like you, don’t help keep society on the road to progress.
  6. ask39thewolf said: @nightvision01 You’re a close minded person, at this point who has such a limited view of how the world actually functions. Maybe you should expand your horizons. You can always learn something new, but do yourself a favor and look at information for yourself and find out the truth of things. I kind of hope you’re a fucking troll at this point. You never did actually answer my questions, nor provide any proof. You see what you want to see, and nothing else matters.
  7. nightvision01 said: Well I am glad you know it all, i have nothing more to say
  8. ask39thewolf said: Want to know another aspect of my job? NEVER let anyone in unless you have PROOF.
  9. ask39thewolf said: What ever happened to “Justice is blind” or “Innocent until proven guilty”. You want to know something? I’ve been a juror on a criminal trial. I have had to see people’s biases first hand and argue the basics of law while examining evidence. I learned how to take apart information I’ve been given. I listen to people, I can read people. It was also my job. To judge people, because I was security. That’s some of my experiences.
  10. ask39thewolf said: And here I was trying to be nice.
  11. ask39thewolf said: Me asking you to provide sources is asking for proof other than your god damned WORD. Because a person’s word isn’t worth shit especially over the internet.
  12. ask39thewolf said: Besides that, just because you have a job doesn’t mean you don’t hold any biases! There are reports, video footage, and stories all the time about police and other people of power abusing and brutalizing people of color. If you ask them these people are scum and obviously guilty, when in many cases they’re completely innocent. People have DIED over things like this. You want to know what it comes down to? Perspective and understanding what is FACT vs OPINION.
  13. ask39thewolf said: Besides that… why didn’t you open with “I’m someone who processes illegal immigrants.” which btw Assylum Seekers and Immigration are two completely different things. Sadly which people continue to confuse.
  14. ask39thewolf said: Besides that your leaps of logic and self righteousness about being correct doesn’t mean that your logic is right. Heck it makes me terrified that you just follow orders and punish innocents.
  15. ask39thewolf said: Besides that, how do I know your job isn’t just being a CRIMINAL PROCESSOR?! That’s a completely different job. So yeah the majority of people you would see would be from the shadier aspect of the situation.
  16. ask39thewolf said: You’re just telling me ‘I’m right you’re wrong, get over it.’ which is really stupid! You are ONE source of information. I have hundreds at my fingertips and there are hundreds of people fact checking and learning all the time.
  17. ask39thewolf said: How can I believe what you say? You only see a fraction of the people coming in. Besides that, how do you know who is who? What’s your job like? Were you just a person who signed papers, or are you actually someone who talks to people and delves into the details.
  18. ask39thewolf said: @nightvision01
  19. ask39thewolf said: *sighs* So what is your job specifications? Are you a lawyer or a judge? Because those specifications still don’t let you understand the whole story. You only have one piece. I am not upset by what you think, I’m upset by your dumb excuses and attempts to correct me with really bad logic. Especially because you said that unless you’re a person directly involved no one is correct in understanding the situation. So what’s the fucking point of investigative journalism?

  21. nightvision01 said: I do not need sources from other people, I see this first hand, I process these people every day i do not have to get reports on the matter. Sorry if this upsets you nut this is my job, I deal with it, I do not read reports from reporters I know because I am there.
  22. ask39thewolf said: To me that is quite sad and heartbreaking. Because it’s times like this where I am reminded that stubbornness can lead to greater conflict and pain. I hope that people will learn to grow and seek out truth for themselves instead of believing things at face value. I hope you’ll grow in the future and learn to think for yourself. Because if you cannot back up your words with facts, then you’re no better than the boy who cried wolf.
  23. ask39thewolf said: I apologize for the kool-aid line. But nothing else. I just get very angry when I see the same pattern of logic over and over again to the point where a person’s argument is invalid by their own logic they intended to use to make me incorrect. It tells me a person if far too gone to actually be reasoned with, or even accept certain facts. Your logic and reasoning tell me that you do not care about facts and hold a lot of biases that you are most likely unaware of.
  24. ask39thewolf said: BTW @nightvision01 if news sources or basically any sources according to you, if they’re not personally involved, is a wrong source. Then what’s the point of fact checking? Also how can you be right at all if, by your own logic, you’re not involved? Me asking for you to give a source of information doesn’t make you right. It makes you stubborn and easily manipulated by certain sources. Enjoy the kool-aid.
  25. ask39thewolf said: @jitterbugjive whoo you need to read some of these comments.
  26. ask39thewolf said: I can also do a quick google search and pull up articles talking about this very issue.
  27. ask39thewolf said: I can give articles sourcing the information I know. I can give references to stories and news sources that are viable and have done their fact checking. If you can’t then you are asking me to take what you’re saying at face value.
  28. ask39thewolf said: @nightvision01 A viable source is a news source covering the story that does fact checking. Multiple sources. Not just “This person said this”. There are many articles covering this tragic event, but what you’re saying about the situation is factually wrong, and that can potentially be dangerous when spreading information. Rumors and false information can spread like wild fire. If you actually dig a little you can uncover the truth. That’s what journalism is all about.
  29. nightvision01 said: It is a very sad and heartbreaking situation
  30. nightvision01 said: Parents of these children can not afford to get taken across themselves so they send the children with the smugglers, wishing and hoping for a better life for their children
  31. nightvision01 said: 2? The only source that should matter is from the men and women that deal with this situation firsthand, The Department of Homeland Security, all other sources are just speculation and half truths not knowing the full story.
  32. ask39thewolf said: @nightvision01 BTW even if these hundreds of children are actually cases of being smuggled in, that does not excuse the treatment these children are getting. Plus for the cases where they really are family, then it’s even WORSE. So do not try to sell me on that as an excuse. Also I highly doubt the hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of people are coming to the US just to smuggle children, especially when many are so young.
  33. ask39thewolf said: @nightvision01 please provide viable proof from at least 2 sources for that. Because I CAN for what I said.
  34. nightvision01 said: Prove relation to the child.
  35. nightvision01 said: @ask39thewolf that’s because there are so many that these places have to be constructed fast, and as for the children what many of you do not know is that many of these children are being brought over by smugglers paid to get them here. Many of these smugglers pretend to be the parents of these children, which I am sad to say molest the children or worse, for the safety of the children they must be separated until the people they are traveling with are processed and can
  36. ask39thewolf said: Um @nightvision01 They’re basically concentration camps in all but name. People have been separated from their children., basically cages (Chain link fences). In some facilities children were not allowed to be held or comforted, and there have been reports of forced sedation on these children. If you’ve seen the photos, it’s freaking inhumane. In a different report DOGS taken from families of illegal immigrants were treated better than the children.
  37. nightvision01 said: Not concentration camps, these facilities have to be put up because so many are not wanting to do it the right way and crossing illegally. There is not enough imagination judges to process them all, yet more and more keep coming every day.
