Wait this is a common thing???
Yeah, it is. Since asexuals don’t experience sexual attraction, they don’t tend to really understand what people mean when they talk about having crushes on other people, and may even make up crushes (based on general feelings of friendship) to try to fit in.
This is how I ended up married at only 18.
