This scene was so important. I can’t believe it didn’t make it into the movie. OOTP is also when Harry realizes that all of this sh*t could have just as easily landed on Neville. And, although Neville was a hero in the films, the audience never fully understood the gravity of his part in the fight against Voldemort. His parents weren’t killed when he was too young to remember. He is reminded of the possible repercussions of resistance each time time he sees them. And it doesn’t slow him down.

I love that kid.
