you know what’s weird
in like dystopian “fuck the government” stories, they all wear like excessive amounts of makeup to show that they don’t care how people judge them but wouldn’t the most dystopian/rebellious thing to do is to just… not wear makeup at all??? like when u don’t wear makeup (especially as a woman) people judge you hard and also capitalism and that stuff so wouldn’t not wearing any makeup be a huge fuck you to society and capitalism and whatever
