The path of a Lord, (according to Caliborn) involves suffering. Karako suffered the moment he was hatched. Being a runt and being saved by Bronya. Who is technically his first minion if you think about it. She serves him to keep him safe. Fulfilling her title of MAID of BREATH. Because yknow. Another maid we knew was associated with a Lord. Lords tend to dominate their aspect so a Lord of Time would barely need to speak to communicate their thoughts. Exactly what Karako does. Karako’s outburst is his Chucklevoodos being unleashed. How would a Lord of Minds chucklevoodos work exactly? ohohoh. Mind is associated with thoughts, instinct, decision making. Karako unleashed his voodoos which made the seadwellers see exactly what their decisions would end them with. Unlike the bad ending, he was pushed to the brink of his limit to unleash such clown sorcery. Which could have meant that he would end up killing them much easier. Or getting close to it. Its why the boastful Seadwellers we saw suddenly booked it. 

There is an allusion to Caliborn are there in his design if you look at it closely. His golden tooth for an example.

Additionally, the impact of Karako’s death has such an impact on the MC just like Boldir’s. Except unlike the MUSE of HEART, who’s death inspired the MC to truly wake up to their situation; Karako’s death left their last known thought, dominate the MC’s mind.
