y’know like transphobes and people who think it’s cool that they choose to do nothing out of total submission and petty spite which they direct to the wrong fucking people
like choose not to vote, fine, but don’t go around whining at people who actually want to try while implying they’re delusional just because it’s ‘annoying’ to see them talking about their issues.
or people who continue to insist to me that Trump isn’t “all that bad” because they’re privileged assholes who aren’t being affected by his bullshit, therefor they assume there’s no problem and people are making it up or exaggerating.
I’m curious who you would have preferred to have won, given the candidates left at the time were all a joke at best.
With it down to just Trump or Clinton, though, the choice for most was obvious…
he didn’t win because people wanted him
he won because so many people didn’t want clinton
It he was actually pit against a decent and intelligent human being I don’t think he would have stood a chance.
(oh and some cheating involved but we all know how people love to cry that any bad things found out about Trump is just a government conspiracy to elect Hilary)
I frankly didn’t want either of them, so in that time, yes, voting felt absolutely pointless because what’s the point if things are going to go to shit either way?
dont forget that he lost the popular vote by 3 million so the people DID voice who they wanted to win. its just russias meddling and an archaic system of electoral college were exploited by him to undermine who the people actually voted for
