a gender neutral term for a nephew or niece is the incredibly adorable and wholly excellent title “niefling”
and that means, in the D&D universe, someone can refer to another person as “my tiefling niefling,” and that just brings me an inexorable amount of joy
Considering this is language related it belongs here
me refering the the nonbinary tiefling rogue child of my sibling who is throwing their daggers
“this is my tiefling niefling and their knife flings”
