The big Dark Souls lore question is why Seath was plating those boars
I know he wanted scales, so maybe he assumed everyone did?
Yeah, I love the idea of nonhuman entities causing harm out of misunderstood benevolence. Like, we thought the humans would want gills, their planet is covered in oceans!
Seath just didn’t understand that other people just don’t want tentacles, clusters of eyes, and hard scales.
