An aspect of misogyny that isn’t looked at today is much as it should be is men’s obsession with divorce rates rising. Men picture it so shocking and so upsetting that women leave their asses as a bad thing when in reality divorces can save lives and are better than having ppl be married who hate each other

It’s like, naw dude, divorce rates go up when women aren’t forced to depend on men to survive. Divorce rates are lower in societies where women can’t even work their own jobs because it’s so much harder for women to survive without men.
I’ve heard so many people talk about how divorce rates are low for arranged marriages as if that reflects well on those marriages. A low divorce rate isn’t always a good thing!
