teenagers in a post 9/11 world are so knowledgeable. im sitting at lunch at a random table and this girl whos in one of my classes is talking about the government shutdown to her friends and saying how shitty it is and how in a lot of places employees arent getting paid and how food inspections stopped. if this had happened 12 years ago, fifteen year olds wouldnt really have the knowledge on politics, but at the same time being a highschool freshman and being able to talk about how flawed capitalism is kind of sucks in a way because we’ve all been stripped from our childhoods and have been forced to grow up because of the political climate, especially in america. we just use memes and stuff to cover it up and its kinda sad

also this is fine to rb
