I tell people my favourite colour is red and it’s not untrue but I mean more of a soft red. When you say that, people often think of pink, but pink isn’t just a soft red, you’ve overshot it once you hit pink. There’s a place in between pink and red which has the softness of pink but maintains the vibrant energy of red and that’s where I do my best work.
