pizzaback:

this may be kind of a controversial opinion but hear me out.

i think political indoctrination of children via internet media (for the sake of this example, youtube videos) is a scumbag move and in an ideal world i’m strongly against it, but in the age of the internet where youtubers like pewdiepie and jontron and what have you are acclimating kids to right-wing beliefs using humor and gaming videos i feel like the left has got to start playing dirty in this regard.

if the past decade is anything to judge by, the next decade’s up-and-coming political radicals will have been influenced very strongly by the internet and the nerd scene in particular and if the left has any chance of pushing back in this regard we have to start that train moving forward now.

what i’m saying is: we gotta make leftist fortnite a thing

leftist youtube as it is now is very adult-oriented while right-wing youtube has its pieces all over the board. leftist youtube cannot just be shaun-esque longform talking videos

we gotta make leftist fortnite a thing
