oh shit. Ross and Holly reported that the divorced was because she was moving and he couldnt, at the time it was thought a coincidence she was moving to the same town as projared. Heidi revealed that Holly and Jared had been having sex since atleast october 2018, a month after Ross and Holly divorced. This means they were likely both cheating on their spouse with eachother for months before hand.

Also, Jared had been mentally abusing and gaslighting Heidi for over a year. Before she even knew he was cheating, she saw him becoming emotionally detached from her. He told her for months its because she was being abusive and she repeatedly broke down crying begging him to tell her what she had done that was wrong, what she should change and he would give her nothing. He gave her scraps of hope that their marriage could be saved, saying things like “i’ve been working on this a lot, things could be different if you just would try harder” and gaslighted her saying ’ the only thing wrong with their relationship is you’. one of her friends talk about how when he stayed in their hotel room at a con, he twice saw Heidi crying on the bed while jared stood looking away stonefaced and ignoring her. she eventually found his old phone full of exchanges with holly describing their previous sexual encounters. she still tried to save their 5 year long marriage after finding out about this, until he announced the divorce on twitter today without telling her previously. Whats more, he had blocked his own wife on twitter so she didnt see the tweet until a wave of confused fans flooded her at once. just an absolutely terrifying situation. I hope this gets more news, she had been bottling this for months and is finally coming public.

On a slightly positive note, The internet is thankfully siding with her, but of course it can never compensate for the trauma hes put her through. Its been only 15 hours since the news brome. Hes currently lost 55,000 subscribers which is 5% of his total count, enough that hes now fallen below 1million subscribers again. These numbers are a lot better when you consider hes been on youtube 8 years and his subscriber count doesnt reflect his active user base, compared to view counts this is 33% to 25% of typical traffic he gets to his videos. whats more, his subreddit has deleted him as a moderator, and it is being flooded with antijared posts and memes. Game grumps has deleted all videos containing jared, but none of them has made any statment. This is expected and completely understandable, as it is likely that ross is only now discovering the extent of holly’s affair and will need time to process this.

I don’t watch him but PBG didn’t understand the whole situation and has now taken Heidi’s side
