how do people get excited over new consoles. whenever i hear about new console news i just think “oh god, another few hundred dollar thing I’m expected to shell out money on if i want to maintain relevant interest in the video games.”. video game libraries feel like they’re shrinking with every new gen because of how many games are just ports/hd remasters/available on literally every platform.
“but we need to facilitate better graphics and frame rates”. no. you’re wrong. every video game should just look like Dog’s Life for the PS2
