Been outta the LoZ loop for a bit but aren't the Zora and Rito distantly related?

I dunno if I’d go so far to say they’re distantly related in my own headcanon but it honestly is a pretty cool idea, so I dunno! O:

common theory is that when hyrule was flooded, the goddess sent the loftwings to help turn the zora into the rito to prevent them from rediscovering hyrule in the adult timeline. In the child timeline common theory is that the loftwings became the the oocca who still act as servants of the goddesses. final theory is that the loftwings became the fokka in the defeated hero timeline to once again act as servents of the gods, this time guarding the triforce of courage. later the fokka could easily be dismissed now that their service is complete and could have become the rito. either way, the common theories are that the rito are made with the loftwings in some manner.
