how common is the name link in hyrule? i mean as a legendary hero with a history of reincarnation it wouldnt be unreasonable for it to be common

I’d imagine it’s common enough, but maybe not as common as one would think. That could possibly because there’s a belief that, as the notable name of the Chosen Hero, many could possibly believe it’s a bit on the sacrilege side to name their child after him, even if naming said child would’ve simply done because the Hero inspired them in some way. I’d say the practice had become more common by the time current timeline Link is born, so while it isn’t super common still, no one would bat an eye if a kid’s name is Link.
