Silver Tongue

bizukos:

Do you ever think about how Aang had to start from scratch? His culture, people and heritage wiped away. No one to talk to him about Air Nomad stories or folklore (maybe it hurt him when Bumi and Kya mocked those tales but that’s not the point) and no one that could go down memory lane with him.

He is left alone to celebrate air nomad traditions, he has to sew his own air nomad attire, that air nomad food he liked growing up nobody cooks it anymore so this 12 year old has to try his hand on it. The worst part is that what if he had to take those wooden necklaces off from corpses of air nomads just to wear it

Maybe he had to make them himself idk but like the thought that he had to revive his own people or keep their memory alive like this, and he wants to keep the philosophy of his people alive, their traditions and choose to be a pacifist but people wanna say he is selfish. Lmao like okay.

what if he frequented the library in the spirit world to learn the things he never got the chance to when rebuilding the air nomad culture
