it starts with a cycle where the twins died within the first few weeks. The crew is so relieved to eat good food when the next one starts. Magnus asks taako to teach him how to cook. After a few months taako is standing behind magnus and guiding his hand, teaching him how to whisk properly and blushes when he realizes how intimate it is. they both laugh about it and try to play it off as nothing but they realize that theyre the only things that remains after each cycle. They start with romantic dinners. Magnus isnt good but its a romantic gesture that taako appreciates even if he does give some snark. Magnus doesnt mention their relationship to the rest of the crew because hes still trying to figure things out and taako doesnt say anything because nobody asks. Merle finds out when he walks in on taako giving magnus a tender kiss and then forgets to say anything because hes merle.
