what about huey?
Huey isn't his real name. It's a nickname Strangelove gave him, in reference to a damaged robot named Huey from the movie Silent Running (because he can't walk). Because Kojima's never seen a movie he couldn't reference.
Actually I looked into it and Strangelove isn't that character's real name either, it's a nickname she got from her coworkers, again in reference to the movie. So it's just Colonel Roy Campbell.
