I’d like to think that even when he’s not wearing his lab coat, Membrane still keeps his face hidden somehow. Has he been horribly scarred from his countless experiments (on himself maybe)? Does he have a crippingly low self-image that is only made up by his incredibly high intellect? Who knows?
