Can I just say I love the detail that, despite the Friendsim trolls, Rose, and Jade all referring to MSPA Reader with they/them pronouns, John and Dave immediately and consistently refer to them as “he/him” 

It threw me off at first because I thought the writers had forgotten Reader’s gender ambiguity in PQ episode 1 and I was a little bummed about it, but then Rose used neutral pronouns in episode 2 and a lightbulb clicked on in my head because of COURSE John and Dave would automatically fall into cisheteronormativity. There’s never been anything MORE in-character for them both lmao
