#I’ve been rewatching the show and a thing that I never realized is that all the moose jokes aren’t altogether random it’s just that ZIM #happens to have a fervent personal admiration for the majestic alces alces #he takes it for granted that the Room With a Moose is every human’s worst nightmare #when they’re learning to skin a moose in class he asks if the moose has projectile weapons #he just assumes that moose are THE apex predator on this filthy planet #when Dib calls him dumb he asserts that he’s DUMB LIKE A MOOSE!!!! #i.e. crazy like a fox #so when he’s creating his most powerful living weapon it…it just stands to reason that it’s a moose #the moose is everything that he wants to embody and #it’s even a mini moose #because he sees himself as a moose but if a moose could be tiny #in summary: #ZIM (holding Minimoose): I just think they’re neat
