If a man born blind can feel the differences between shapes such as spheres and cubes, could he, if given the ability, distinguish those objects by sight alone? In 2003 five people had their sight restored though surgery, and, no they could not.

i think the question is more like prestiege where a botched teleporter ended up making an exact clone with them being unable to distinguish which was the clone and which wasnt. However, there is definately a way to tell from the perspective of the person cloned since the person cloned will be the one that did legitimately come first. the clone will just think it came first.
