I once made the mistake of asking a 96yo lady what she liked to watch on tv as a kid and she got a good laugh out of that before saying loudly, “I REMEMBER WHEN RADIO WAS INVENTED.”

My great granma, who died when I was 11 at 99 years of age, loved the absolute shit out of technology.

“I REMEMBER WHEN WE FIRST GOT A RADIO,” she said, loudly, because her hearing wasn’t what it was 70 years ago, “AND NOW THERE ARE COMPUTERS THAT CORRECT YOUR SPELLING FOR YOU!”
