New Player Logic

This was our Paladin’s first ever D&D game.

DM: The golem seems to be made of obsidian.

Paladin: I don’t know if my sword will do any damage, guys. Obsidian is pretty hard.

Sorcerer (Me): …are you basing that off of Minecraft?

Paladin: Yes.

*later*

DM: There is also a golden apple on her shelf.

Paladin: Eat it!

DM: No, it’s like a solid gold apple. Like a statue.

Paladin: It restores health!

Sorcerer: STOP making dnd assumptions based on MINECRAFT!
