ngl the best thing about harry potter was that voldemort killed harry’s parents, he tried to kill harry & co literally every year, was the evilest person known to man, whatever, and yet for 99% of the books it reads like the villain of the whole thing is draco malfoy, an annoying spoiled brat. 

which is kind of hilarious but like if there was a supervillain after me i’d probably still be more actively annoyed at that one girl i had history with last year who i hated so who am i to judge.

Okay yes, I see your point, Headmaster, clearly Voldemort has had a larger overall negative impact on my life and the lives of all members of the wizarding world but have you considered that I see Tom Riddle’s desiccated corpse attempting to hex me into oblivion perhaps one day out of every thousand days of my life but that I see Draco Malfoy NOT ONLY on Tuesdays but on Wednesdays and Fridays besides and also that Draco Malfoy is, in fact, a sniveling little ferret?
