i wrote this as a shitpost but

• MC starts committing crimes with (relatively) moral reasons, commits more and more evil acts with increasing callousness as plot continues
  
• MC kills numerous people to protect his secret identity and/or family
  
• MC’s wife becomes accomplice
  
• MC stays anonymous, while his pseudonym becomes famous
  
• MC has prominent family member in the police force who eventually dies because of MC’s actions
  
• MC has access to police information through said family member
  
• MC at one point works for the antagonist, at the same time plotting their death
  
• MC’s wife escapes punishment
• MC dies alone from gunshot wound in abandoned building while police approaches
